The ultimate aim for any agent or property owner is to expose your property to the largest number of buyers in the shortest possible timeframe to encourage a sale.
Agents who refuse to hold open houses or advertise is like keeping a secret, its like they are saying “Shhhhh let’s not tell anybody about this house or let anyone see it.” Owners could be missing out on opportunities to sell their home.
There are some reasons where you wouldn’t hold an open house, like where a property may not be safe to inspect, or inclement weather etc. If a property is presentable, spotless from top to bottom, priced correctly and located in an easy to access area then an open home is a great way to attract buyers.
