A total of 30 years continuous experience in the local real estate industry. In particular, 18 years experience in the disposal, valuation, auction and consultancy of commercial and industrial real estate on behalf of clients primarily located in the Illawarra and Sydney regions.
Commenced employment with Martin Morris & Jones Pty Limited in 1974 as Residential Salesman. Transferred to Head Office in 1980 as Commercial/Industrial Salesman, and soon thereafter appointed Company Auctioneer and Head of Industrial/Commercial Department.
Became Managing Director in 1986.

Commenced at the Dapto Office in residential property management in 2002. More than 18 months later, moved on to Commercial / Industrial Sales in the current position in Martin Morris & Jones Head Office in Wollongong.
Tim studied journalism at Macleay College in Sydney immediately after school and graduated in 1998, with a Diploma in Journalism. He remained a Balgownie local resident until the age of 20 and then relocated to the northern suburbs of Sydney to pursue a career in the competitive field of journalism, after receiving a job offer from leading television broadcaster, Sky Channel.
After spending three years as a Director’s Assistant and, more recently, a producer at Sky Channel, Tim decided to move back to Wollongong to join the family real estate business, Martin Morris & Jones.

Joshua is the latest addition to the Commercial & Industrial Team and has been appointed to assist with the day to day activities associated with the Commercial & Industrial Sales & Leasing departments. Joshua is currently balancing tertiary education with hands on experience to give him the best possible platform for him to progress in the industry.
Joshua possesses a high level of computer skills and great interpersonal expertise. He is quickly learning the ropes and has proved to be a valuable addition to the MMJ team.

 

Phillip joined Martin Morris & Jones in 1973 and has developed broad real estate experience in all areas of real estate including valuation, residential and commercial management, residential and commercial sales.
Phillip is a registered Valuer, a fully licensed Real Estate Agent, Auctioneer, an Accredited Real Estate Specialist and an Associate of the Real Estate Institute. He has been actively involved in industry associations and served for 10 years on the local board of EAC Multilist.
Married for over 30 years, Phillip has 4 children and is actively involved in his community.
Currently a member and past President of the Corrimal Rotary Club, Phillip has also been involved in various roles with the Salvation Army Boys Legion, Scouts and Asthma Foundation.

Since 1993, Daniel Hastings has committed himself to establishing a real estate career in the Illawarra.
Working under the Martin Morris & Jones banner with it’s diverse activities including project marketing, town planning, valuation, property management plus residential and commercial sales, Daniel has developed excellent industry skills and a broad knowledge base. His own high personal standards also reflect the company’s ideals and charter.
Despite attaining his full Real Estate licence, Daniel has continued to extend his professional development with industry and related courses.
Having grown up locally and through his active involvement with various sporting bodies, especially within the soccer fraternity, Daniel has also developed a vast network of friends and contacts.
Many fund raising events have benefited from Daniel’s professional and entertaining auctioneering skills.
Became a director of Martin Morris & Jones in February 2005.

Daniel has over 11 years experience in the sales industry and brings an energetic, systemized and internet savvy approach to real estate sales. He has vast experience in the sale of residential, commercial and industrial real estate and has also specialized in high rise unit sales and land subdivision sales. Daniel was also named "Junior Auctioneer of the year" in 2000 by the Real Estate Institute of Australia. He values all his clients highly and is dedicated to achieving you the best possible result.

Daniel is a professional real estate agent. He works extremely hard to ensure that his vendors receive the best representation possible. He is always training in the latest techniques to give his customers an edge on the competition. "It's a fast paced industry with a great deal of energy".

Trish joined the MMJ team in 2008 as a Residential Sales Trainee. She is currently balancing tertiary education along side practical experience to get the best training in order to take on the Real Estate Industry in 2008.
Trish brings a fresh and dynamic personality to the team, she prides herself on presentation and professionalism in her everyday activities. She has acquired a high level of computer skills including database management.

Kara is responsible for the accounting and administration of the Residential Sales Department and possesses 5 years experience in the industry.
Kara has completed an Office Administration Certificate and has been awarded for her efforts in administration. She has excellent computer management skills, including accounting and database management. Kara excels in her role given the fast paced environment and plays an important role in the success of the Residential Sales Department.

Sandra has been with Martin Morris & Jones Residential Management Services since our inception in 2002. Previous to this Sandra had been employed by Jack Albert Real Estate for 25 years.
During her long period in property management Sandra has built up a strong relationship with her landlords and prides herself on this. Sandra has a "can do" attitude and nothing is ever too much trouble for her.

Loretta has been employed by the MMJ group for over 10 years beginning her real estate career as property manager at our Dapto office and then progressing to her current position with MMJ Residential when the company was formed.
Loretta's main duties include overseeing the smooth running of the office, and completing all accounting duties within the company including paying all accounts and disbursing landlord funds at the end of each month. In addition Loretta also supervisors the Junior Property Managers and prides herself on being accessible to landlords and tenants at all times.

Rebecca was employed by MMJ Residential initially as a Receptionist and then progressed to a leasing agent and was then promoted to her current position of Property Manager, Rebecca has been with the firm for 6 years and has a bright, bubbly personality that endears her to both the landlords and tenants alike.

Kali has been with MMJ Residential since 2005 and was employed as a Receptionist, however we quickly saw Kali's potential and as soon as the opportunity arose Kali was promoted to a Property Management position with her own portfolio. Kali's attention to detail and dedication set her apart and she has thrived in her current position. Kali has a wonderful rapport with landlords, tenants and tradespeople.

Kaitlin was employed in January 2007 as a trainee and is currently competing her studies to become a Licensed Real Estate agent, Kaitlin conducts inspections of the properties showing them to potential tenants and also completes annual inspections and provides a comprehensive report to the landlords. Kaitlin is our advertising wiz and as such maintains our website listings and ensures that all details are correct and up to date.

Initially employed in our Dapto office Debby transferred to MMJ Residential and is fantastic support for our Property Management team bringing with her a wealth of knowledge. Debby's main focus is Rental Arrears Control and special projects and will soon begin studies to complete her Real Estate Certificate.

Sam has recently been employed by MMJ Residential as our Receptionist and has a fresh and dynamic personality which adds to our team. Sam is looking forward to furthering her career with MMJ Residential when the opportunity arises.

Katie joined our team in 2001 as part or our Project Marketing team and has gained a broad understanding of the Real Estate Industry through her various roles within the company.
Now promoted to the role of Marketing & Development Manager, Katie is responsible for all aspects of marketing Martin Morris & Jones. Katie also oversees the quality control and co-ordination of marketing campaigns for residential, commercial, investment and development properties.
Her fresh and imaginative mind and graphic design abilities are utilised in creating artwork for various marketing mediums. Her passion and enthusiasm shines in the presentation of her work.

Nicole joined the Martin Morris & Jones team in 2005.
Nicole had previously completed a Business Administration Traineeship with Wollongong City Council in the Property Division. She then spent 12 months as a Real Estate Sales Secretary. Then progressed to a Property Cadet with Wollongong City Council for three & a half years.
Nicole now plays an important role in the sales, leasing & marketing of our Commercial & Industrial Property Division.

Rob Aubin is currently the Senior Valuer for the company and carries with him over 20 years Valuation and Property Consultancy experience. He began his valuation career with the State Bank in 1980 in Griffith, this role eventually lead him to Wollongong, where in 1984 he began his role at Martin Morris & Jones.
Rob has valuation extensive expertise in all forms of residential, commercial & retail properties and extends to a wide variety of real estate including irrigation, farms, intensive livestock farms, orchards, broad-acre farming and grazing properties. Over the past 13 years Rob has specialised in the valuation of all forms or interest in service stations and has consulted widely to the oil industry throughout NSW and the ACT.

Brendan began his career with L J Hooker in 1989 after completing his Bachelor of Business, he then progressed to Jack Albert Real Estate where he furthered his education by completing an Associate Diploma of Engineering (Building) Science.
In 1992 he joined the MMJ team and currently undertakes a diverse range of valuation types, mainly centred in the Illawarra, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Wingecarribee and Wollondilly areas. Brendan brings to the company 12 years of experience in valuations ranging from basic cottages to large commercial premises. In addition he provides services services in valuation of easements and road closures, building inspections and progress payments for developments under construction.

Gerry Hawdon bring to the valuation department over 30 years experience in the industry including rural valuation and assessment of rural feasibilities, commercial loan proposal feasibilities, general commercial & industrial valuation work, including hotels, motels, newsagencies, subdivisions, licensed clubs, child care centres, multi storey units, resorts, service stations and restaurants.
Gerry began his career with Elders GM in 1969, he then moved on to the State Bank where he progressed to the Regional Valuer at Wollongong. He joined our team in 1996 and predominantly provides services in mortgage lending purposes.

Murray has 23 years experience in the Industry including being an Auctioneer, Business, Stock and Station Agent and a licensee and proprietor of his own real estate business for 9 years.
Murray has been a Registered Valuer for approx 6 years and has been undertaking valuations, primarily of a residential nature and is a part-time teacher at TAFE, in Real Estate based courses.

During the 18 years of employment within Local Government, Graham gained extensive experience in many facets of town planning relative to an established urban/rural environment and rapidly expanding urban/coastal environment.
Since establishing the Town Planning Division of Martin Morris & Jones in 1988 Graham has expanded his expertise to a wide variety of town planning facets.
Graham has particular experience within the service station industry and in more recent times, has been instrumental in the design and development of a large house estate in Woonona.

Since joining MMJ's Town Planning Division in 2003, Luke has quickly gained experience in the NSW planning system, at both State and Local levels. Working close with many developers, consultants, Councils, State Agencies and the like.
Previously a building estimator, his knowledge in construction has aided his quick understanding of the planning industry which is being assisted by studies at The University of New England (Bachelor of Urban & Regional Planning). This experience has helped direct the company's Town Planning Services to clients.
