Approved 130 place Childcare Centre at 5-11 Bunberra St, Bomaderry

MMJ Town Planning & Advisory is pleased to announce that the redevelopment of the former RSL club site at 5-11 Bunberra Street, Bomaderry, is now complete.

The project has transformed the site into a commercial premises and a 130-place childcare facility, marking a significant milestone for the Bomaderry community.

MMJ Town Planning and Advisory assisted in the preparation and submission of the Development Application for the childcare facility to Shoalhaven City Council which resulted in the successful determination of the Development Approval.

On January 30, 2023, the approval for Little Zaks Childcare Centre at 5-11 Bunberra Street received the green light, signalling a new chapter for this location and addressing a pressing need for childcare services in the area.

The much needed childcare centre will offer significant benefits to the community, providing a safe and structured environment for children to learn and play while their parents or guardians are at work or otherwise occupied. Some of the benefits of a childcare facility include:

  1. Professional care and supervision by trained staff
  2. Socialisation opportunities with peers
  3. Development of early education skills
  4. Improved cognitive and language development
  5. Greater independence and confidence in children
  6. Support for working parents and families
  7. Access to resources and activities that may not be available at home.

The site is located at the western edge of the Bomaderry local centre, on the corner of Bunberra Street and Coomea Street, northwest of the Bomaderry train station. The redevelopment provides a new commercial space and a 130-place childcare centre.

Operated by a team of twenty-two dedicated staff members, the centre's capacity to cater for 130 children promises to meet the burgeoning demand for childcare services in Bomaderry and its surrounding regions. The carefully planned room allocations delineate a thoughtful approach to age-specific learning environments:

The facility is staffed by 22 dedicated team members and caters for 130 children, assisting the high demand for childcare centres in Bomaderry and its surrounding suburbs. The childcare features carefully planned room allocations for age-specific learning environments:
